The reason is that I can’t use images to get IP address in Gmail is that Google now caches the images in mails and then passes it to us from their own servers, so should only get Google’s own IP address.So,how do you disable IP tracking?

Gmail IP Address Tracker is used for tracking any suspicious or unknown activity. So it is good for the user. But if still you want to deactivate it then follow steps :-

Process to turn off gmail IP Tracking

1. Open your gmail Account
2. Click on the Detail icon available on the right top corner of the webpage
3. Click on change option
4. Scroll down your webpage and find “Never show an alert for unusual activity”
5. Click on that option
6. Now click on Apply
Hence you will successfully made change. But remember this update can be take several week to update in your account.
